Typefi proudly represented Queensland in the Small Business category amongst a very diverse group of finalists. Congratulations to Victoria’s photoSentinel on their well-deserved win!

Hosted by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), the awards ceremony was the highlight of a full-day program for finalists which included an innovation masterclass, a networking lunch, and an opportunity to attend Question Time at Parliament House and meet with MPs.

Typefi became a 2018 national finalist after winning the Premier of Queensland’s Export Award for Small Business in October.

Typefi has been exporting since 2007, and 90% of its customers are based overseas, with exports accounting for 92% of revenue in the 2017–18 financial year.

The national judges commended Typefi on a strong application, saying that the company is “forward-thinking with sound knowledge of their product, their markets and customers”.

“Typefi has a great product, and good international export figures—the judges are keen to see the journey continue.”
