Farewell to 2020

This year has been a challenging one for us at Typefi, as it has been for nearly everyone. However, despite the many difficulties, we’ve achieved a lot in 2020!

While we have greatly missed meeting our customers and partners in person due to travel restrictions, our long experience working as a globally-distributed team meant that we were well-placed to adapt to 100% remote work and to continue delivering top quality services to our customers.

At the start of the lockdowns around the world, many customers took up our offer of a rapid and free migration to Typefi Cloud from their on-premises Typefi installations, enabling them to work remotely more effectively.

We were also happy to share our insights on working with remote teams, having done this for many years, and we are proud to have played a part in helping our customers adapt to the global changes.

In 2020, Typefi welcomed new team members, revamped help.typefi.com with more content, and released a brand new product, Typefi Writer 64-bit. There have been many meetings at unusual hours to keep things moving forward across a range of time zones!

Looking back, our company and our team members have been very resilient to the challenges of the new normal. As CEO, I would like to acknowledge the tremendous effort of our Typefi team in excelling and delivering during a difficult time.

At Typefi, we are looking forward to a more prosperous and constructive 2021, the 20th anniversary of Typefi’s founding. We have many new products, innovations, and some changes planned for next year.

We have started building a new customer service portal, which will provide real-time analytics of Typefi Cloud, service pack and support utilisation. We have started our SOC2 certification process and expect to be fully certified by mid-year. We have many new products and major upgrades to existing products planned for 2021, and we are hoping that we will be able to host in-person and virtual Typefi events in the latter half of the year.

Thank you for being part of the Typefi community, and best wishes for the holiday season from all of us at Typefi.
