Typefi for legal publishers

Legal publications often present unique formatting challenges, whether you’re producing books, journals, continuing education materials, or complex documents for legal practice.

Not only do new versions need to be updated and released at the speed the law changes and in more formats than ever before, but accuracy and attention to detail is imperative.

For over a decade, Typefi’s powerful automated publishing platform has been helping legal publishers to rapidly produce publications for print, online, and mobile, while flawlessly handling challenges like extensive footnotes, complex list hierarchies, extensive citations, and multiple tables of authorities.

In this webinar, Senior Solutions Consultant Guy van der Kolk and Director of Business Development Emily Johnston provide an overview of Typefi’s automation solutions for legal publishing.

Emily Johnston

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a Juris Doctorate (JD), Emily’s first job was as a project manager at Apex CoVantage, a publishing services company, where she coordinated production of publications for the American Bar Association. She continued to work in publishing services for 15 years before joining Typefi, and has an in-depth understanding of the challenges legal (and other) publishers face every day.

Now a Director of Business Development at Typefi, Emily works closely with a variety of publishers and organisations in North and South America and Asia to understand their unique needs and recommend solutions that will optimise publishing workflows at all stages of the production process.

Having spent the first 17 years of his life in West Africa, Guy is fluent in three languages and has a multicultural background that has served him well in his career. As an IT consultant and trainer for an Apple Premium reseller and now for Typefi, he has spent the last 15 years training thousands of people to get the most out of their software.
