Laurent Galichet joined ISO in November 2011 to manage the XML conversion project of ISO’s legacy content, helping to develop ISO STS. He also worked to implement the XML production chain now in use at ISO, and discussed this implementation during Thursday morning’s Publishing for Standards Professionals workshop at the 2016 Typefi User Conference.
Now, as Head of Publishing, Laurent is responsible for ensuring ISO’s publishing operations remain state of the art with innovations in new publishing technology and services. The Publishing unit also works with the technical community to commission and produce added value publications to help the market implementation of key standards.
