This is a great opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Solutions Manager to join our team of publishing experts at an award-winning global B2B software company.
Founded in 2001 on the Sunshine Coast, Typefi has customers in 20+ countries, and a diverse team based in Australia, UK, Europe, USA, Sri Lanka, and South Africa.
This role is remote and we are looking for someone in the USA. You must be available to work during West Coast working hours.
Purpose of the role
Typefi is looking for a Solutions Manager to ensure the smooth implementation of new customer projects and provide critical support for Typefi’s established customers. The ideal candidate for this position is highly motivated and solutions-oriented with strong Adobe InDesign skills, a healthy knowledge of XML and associated technologies, an interest in innovative publishing for print, online and mobile, and a desire to help people DO MORE through the power of intelligent automation.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with Solutions Consultants to understand the customers’ requirements
- Taking the lead to successfully implement new projects
- Collaborating with Typefi engineers to ensure deliverables meet expectations
- Using your Adobe InDesign experience to create and modify Adobe InDesign templates
- Finding the best way of leveraging Typefi’s patented software to create automated publishing workflows
- Documenting customer solutions to help others use and maintain the solution
- Providing high-quality customer support through Typefi’s online support system
Skills to succeed in this role
- Excellent organisation
- The ability to manage competing demands to deadline and within defined scope
- Strong Adobe InDesign skills
- Pre- and post-print production experience using XML workflows will be a significant advantage
- Technical knowledge of EPUB, HTML and other digital publishing formats and workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Initiative and the ability to work remotely and independently
- Experience in a project implementation will be an advantage
- Knowledge of legal publishing will be an advantage
