Typefi Tutorials

Thursday, 2 May 2019, 2:00pm–5:00pm ($250)

Join Typefi’s Solutions Consultants for a three-hour deep dive into either Typefi Designer or best practices for working with math.

DO MORE with Typefi Designer templates

Typefi Solutions Consultants Jamie Brinkman and Damian Gibbs will provide a hands-on workshop full of useful tips and tricks to leverage the power of Typefi Designer for Adobe InDesign.

With a focus on your content and your questions, this will be a highly personalised workshop designed to help you take your InDesign templates to the next level!

To get the most out of this workshop, participants should bring a laptop with Adobe InDesign and Typefi Designer installed, as well as existing templates and some sample content.

MathML, MathTools, and your Typefi workflow

In this tutorial, Typefi Solutions Consultants Eric Damitz and David Popham will share best practices for working with math—from authoring to composition—with a focus on MathML workflows.

Explore the use of Word and MathType for authoring MathML, and learn how to use MathTools for template setup and post-Typefi editing. Eric and David will also explain what Typefi’s MathTools script modules do, and how you can customise your output using GREP, XSLT and custom JavaScripts.

If you’re currently using a different math workflow, this session may help illustrate the benefits of a MathML and MathTools workflow.

To participate in the hands-on elements of the session, please bring a laptop with InDesign and MathTools installed, along with your templates and some sample content.
