IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organisation dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. With more than 423,000 members in over 160 countries, and offering a range of highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities, IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

In this presentation from the 2019 Typefi User Conference, Patrick Gibbons, Senior Solutions Manager, shares insights into the IEEE Standards Association‘s experience of implementing an XML workflow with Inera eXtyles and Typefi.

“We’re not just a publishing department… we’re standards professionals who do publishing versus publishing professionals who do standards. We have to be very involved in the whole process of development.”
