Chandi Perera, CEO

Chandi Perera has over 18 years of publishing and media technology experience and has been instrumental in introducing new publishing technologies. Before becoming Typefi Systems CEO in 2006, Mr Perera was the principal of Perera Consulting Group and prior to that finished a five-year role as the CIO for Lonely Planet Publications. He has also acted as a technology consultant to corporations and government agencies around the world. Mr Perera is a frequent conference speaker in the areas of content management, publishing, media, XML, structured content and digital rights management. Mr Perera is a board member of a number of industry bodies and has degrees in Engineering and Computer Science.

Chris Hausler, VP Sales & Marketing

Chris Hausler is responsible for sales and business development in the Americas and Europe. He is responsible for both direct sales and through partnerships. As head of marketing he also drives the company’s marketing campaigns and public relations to ensure strong communication to its customers and partners. Prior to joining Typefi in 2008, Hausler was a Senior Account Manager for IDS Scheer, a business process improvement software and consulting company, where he was responsible for building IDS Scheer's financial services sector in the Americas. Mr Hausler holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Widener University and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Richmond.

Caleb Clauset, VP Product Management

Caleb Clauset drives the vision and strategy for Typefi Publish and Typefi Cloud. He is also responsible for cultivating strategic partnerships with developers to extend the core capabilities of Typefi Publish. Caleb is an award-winning designer and Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign with over 10 years experience designing, developing and implementing publishing technology. Mr Clauset holds a Master of Graphic Design from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Ben Hauser, VP Engineering

Ben Hauser manages Typefi's Engineering team and is responsible for Typefi's Product Architecture. He has over 20 years of experience creating computer software. Prior to joining Typefi, Ben held key positions in the Securities and Investment Banking sector in Australia and London. His particular strengths include Agile Software Development, Automated Unit Testing, Machine Learning and Genetic Algorithms. Ben holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Queensland.
