Typéfi appoints Mike Silverman as
U.S. Vice-President of Sales and Marketing

Typéfi has appointed Mr Mike Silverman to the position of Vice-President of Sales and Marketing for the United States.
Mr Silverman brings to Typéfi over 20 years of marketing and sales expertise and an exceptional track record in the publishing software industry.
Most recently, Mr Silverman worked with Adobe Systems as National Sales Director for Major Accounts managing a sales force responsible for $30 million in annual direct licensing of all Adobe products. Boeing, Merrill Lynch and Pfizer and many other Fortune 500 companies were listed among his division’s clientele.
Previously, Mr Silverman served as Adobe’s National Sales Director in the ePaper Division, increasing the division’s sales from $50 million to $90 million through astute management of a team of corporate account managers and business development managers. As Adobe’s Director for the Northern Region he managed one third of the U.S. sales territory, at one time generating half of Adobe’s U.S. revenue (approximately $200 million).
Typéfi CEO, Mr Steve Huff, said, “We are extremely pleased to have Mike on our team and I am confident his expertise in high-level sales of publishing software will contribute significantly to Typéfi’s strong future. Mike’s enthusiasm and energy is obvious, and he will provide strong, focused leadership to the sales force in the U.S.” Mr Silverman said that after discussions with Typéfi’s management team and witnessing first-hand the ground-breaking capabilities of the technology, the decision to join Typéfi was the obvious choice.
At Typéfi’s Marketing and Technology Summit in late January, Mr Silverman commented: “The Typéfi Publishing SystemTM is solving a problem for which the market place has been seeking a solution for many years — to have a complete automated publishing solution. The TPS brings all participants of the publishing workflow together on a client/server model — from the design process right through to typesetting. It is a one-stop solution.

Version Two of the Typéfi Publishing System is scheduled for release later this year.
