At the heart of Typefi Print is a centralized XML-based repository that hosts all corporate marketing assets and branding guidelines. Once an InDesign template has been approved it is uploaded to the Typefi Print Server and assigned directly to users or groups. To produce the final document, users print directly from within Microsoft Word. Text content is converted to XML, forwarded to the Typefi Print Server, matched to the selected InDesign template and instantly processed to richly-formatted PDF. Typefi Publish offers an ideal way for multiple authors, editors and contributors to collaborate on publications using only Microsoft® Word. Typefi Publish works by converting Word text into professionally typeset publications that automatically adhere to all corporate branding and design guidelines. With Typefi ’s web-based console, internal and external workgroups can access projects and easily work in parallel. Typefi Publish is built on Adobe® InDesign® CS2, the class-leading design and layout application.

At the heart of Typefi Publish is a centralized XML-based content management system that allows authors and designers to easily reuse, repurpose, and reassemble project content and design templates in parallel workflow. Typefi Publish provides for roundtrip editing between source documents and fi nal editions. All text and styling changes made to the typeset pages can be automatically extracted back to the central XML repository and automatically updated to all other editions, including the source Word documents.
